How do I choose the right Calibra diet for my pet?

Choosing the right food for your pet depends on factors such as age, breed, size, and any specific dietary requirements or sensitivities they may have.

For Calibra Veterinary Diets, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian to determine the best food for your pet’s individual needs.

I want to change my pet’s diet to Calibra, how do I do this? 

Changing your pet’s food without a transition plan may lead to gastrointestinal upset.

Therefore, you should transition to the new diet gradually to give your pet’s system time to adjust to the change.

Ideally, these transitions should happen over 5-7 days. For most pets, a good diet transition will look like this:
• Day 1: 25% new diet and 75% old diet
• Day 3: 50% new diet and 50% old diet
• Day 5: 75% new diet and 25% old diet
• Day 7: 100% new diet

Some pets with sensitive stomachs, food allergies, or other gastrointestinal diseases may need an even longer transition period.

How much should I feed my pet?

All Calibra products have recommended feeding guidelines on the back of their packaging.

We are incredibly confident in the palatability of Calibra pet food, so much so that we offer a 100% money-back guarantee. However, to facilitate this guarantee effectively, please adhere to the following guidelines to qualify for a refund.


1. Eligibility
• Each household in the United Kingdom is eligible for a refund on one pack of cat food and one pack of dog food from the listed ranges below, excluding supplementary foods.
• Multiple claims from the same household will not be accepted.
• Valid reasons for dissatisfaction will be considered only if the food has been introduced correctly through a gradual transition (we recommend a 5–7-day gradual transition from the old diet to the new).

2. Claims Process
• Claims must be made within one month of the purchase date as indicated on a valid invoice.
• The company reserves the right to refuse invoices that are unclear, soiled, out of date, or from locations outside of the UK.
• Applicants must submit a completed form including their full name, address, email, phone number and a statement (10+ words) explaining dissatisfaction within one month of purchase to info@calibrastore.co.uk. Calibra Palatability Guarantee Form
• Alternatively, you may post the completed form along with the required documents to Covetrus UK, College Mains Rd, Dumfries, DG2 0NU.

3. Disqualification
• The company reserves the right to disqualify individuals attempting to manipulate receipts. Submission of invalid receipts may lead to account freezing or deletion.

My pet has a problem – can I “self-prescribe” a veterinary diet?

We understand that you have the best intentions but do not feed your pet a veterinary diet without consulting with your veterinarian.

Prescribing a veterinary diet is at their discretion, based on a thorough clinical examination and history. Diets are part of treatment plans, and your pet should be under the supervision of a veterinary surgeon when switching to a veterinary diet.

How do I make changes to my order?

Unfortunately, we are unable to make any changes to your order once your order has been processed, however your order can be collected and returned once you have received it. A small handling fee will be applied.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes, all packaging is recyclable, please follow the gov.uk website for more details on how to recycle correctly.

Do you offer free shipping?

Do you offer international shipping?

We currently delivery to the UK mainland only.

Can I track the process of my order?

I received a damaged item what should I do?

If you have received a damaged item, please take a clear photograph of the damaged item and send this, along with your order details, to info@calibrastore.co.uk for us to investigate.

Can I return a product if I no longer want it?

If you wish to return an item you’ve received, it must be unopened and in good condition. We must be notified within 14 days of receipt of order.
